India Domestic Credit increased 8.4 % YoY in Jan 2021, compared with an increase of 8.5 % YoY in the previous month. India Domestic Credit Growth YoY data is updated monthly. It averaged 15.1 %, available from Mar 2000 to Jan 2021. The data reached an all-time high of 27.1 % in Jul 2009 and a record low of 5.6 % in Nov 2017. CEIC calculates Domestic Credit Growth from monthly Domestic Credit. The Reserve Bank of India provides Domestic Credit in local currency.
In the latest reports, India Domestic Credit reached 2,477.8 USD bn in Jan 2021. Money Supply M2 in India increased 18.5 % YoY in Feb 2021. India Foreign Exchange Reserves was measured at 542.2 USD bn in Dec 2020. The Foreign Exchange Reserves equaled 13.0 Months of Import in Jan 2021. The country's Non Performing Loans Ratio stood at 8.2 % in Mar 2020, compared with the ratio of 9.1 % in the previous year.
